Deck overview

This Golgari deck is an explosive go-wide token swarm and spellslinger engine led by Witherbloom, the Balancer. The strategy centers on rapidly establishing a wide board of creature tokens and mana dorks during the opening turns. Once four or more creatures are in play, Witherbloom enters the battlefield for as little as two colored mana and grants affinity for creatures to all subsequent instant and sorcery spells. This turns expensive, high-impact spells like Shamanic Revelation, Last March of the Ents, and Tooth and Nail into drastically discounted power plays. The deck leverages this immense mana velocity to draw dozens of cards, expand the swarm, and search up decisive finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and End-Raze Forerunners. Low-cost protection spells defend the board against removal while the deck transitions from rapid ramp into an overwhelming, trampling combat assault that eliminates the table in short order.
