Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Ovika, Enigma Goliath, which transforms every noncreature spell into a hasty goblin army. The core plan is to turbo out Ovika with fast mana (Mana Crypt, Sol Ring, Mox Sapphire, Mox Ruby, Chrome Mox, Mishra's Workshop), then chain cheap instants, sorceries, artifacts, and enchantments to create an overwhelming swarm of 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin tokens. The goblin tribal suite - Krenko, Mob Boss, Goblin Chieftain, Shared Animosity, Goblin Bombardment, Goblin War Strike - provides explosive finishers through combat or direct damage. The deck also packs an elite stack-based interaction suite (10 counterspells, 4 free spells) to protect its turns, alongside extra combat (Relentless Assault) and an extra turn (Time Walk) to chain multiple attack phases. The average mana value of 2.78 and dense acceleration allow Ovika to hit the battlefield as early as turn 3, with a critical mass of tokens following shortly after.
