Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Naya +1/+1 counters deck led by Shalai and Hallar. The strategy converts creature growth directly into reach by dealing damage to opponents whenever counters are placed on your creatures. The mana base and acceleration package enable early deployment of the commander alongside scaling engines such as Hardened Scales, Innkeeper's Talent, and Tribute to the World Tree. On turns 5 and 6, explosive mass-counter pieces like Cathars' Crusade, Railway Brawler, and Kalonian Hydra trigger heavy noncombat damage bursts while building huge attacking bodies. Protective tools like Grand Abolisher, Shalai, Voice of Plenty, and Lae'zel's Acrobatics shield your board against removal and board wipes, while Aura Shards dismantles opposing artifacts and enchantments. Even if the commander is removed, redundant payoffs like All Will Be One and unblockable combat pressure close the game reliably.
