Sauron, the Dark Lord leads a high-powered Grixis control and reanimator strategy. Sauron naturally builds a tall Orc Army whenever opponents cast spells, while demanding costly sacrifices from opponents seeking to target him. Combat connections with Armies trigger the Ring tempts you mechanic, cycling away stale cards to draw fresh hands and seed huge threats into the graveyard. The deck leverages an elite suite of free counterspells and efficient removal to dictate the pace of the game. It seals victory by reanimating colossal game-ending threats like Toxrill, the Corrosive and Razaketh, the Foulblooded, or by casting Devastating Onslaught on Terror of the Peaks for massive burst damage.
