Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 5-color Token Polymorph strategy piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan avoids low-mana creature cards entirely, ensuring every polymorph trigger hits a massive, game-dominating threat. During the early turns, the deck deploys 2-CMC mana rocks alongside resilient noncreature token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his −3 ability to exile a token and cheat a 7-to-10 CMC bomb like Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Lord Xander, the Collector, or Hullbreaker Horror directly into play. Secondary polymorph enablers such as Proteus Staff, Synthetic Destiny, and Mass Polymorph provide backup velocity. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage and devastating enter-the-battlefield triggers while controlling opposing boards with efficient exile removal and asymmetric defensive locks.
