Valgavoth by user1812417

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls commands a Rakdos group-slug and passive-burn deck designed to bleed all opponents while snowballing card advantage. The game plan centers on establishing cheap, persistent damage triggers such as Roiling Vortex, Fate Unraveler, and Mogis, God of Slaughter that guarantee opponents lose life during each of their turns. Every trigger places a counter on Valgavoth and draws a card, quickly turning the commander into a lethal flying threat while refilling your hand. The deck finishes games through amplified noncombat burn using Furnace of Rath and Torture Pit, massive drain spells like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or lethal commander damage.
