Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Rakdos turbo-combo strategy commanded by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. It uses format-ceiling fast mana and efficient rituals to deploy Ob Nixilis on Turn 1 or 2, quickly weaponizing symmetric 1-damage pings from cards like Orcish Bowmasters, Roiling Vortex, and Mayhem Devil to draw through the library. The deck aims to close the game on Turn 3 through compact two-card combos, notably Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute which triggers an infinite 1-damage loop with Ob Nixilis. Secondary win lines include Dualcaster Mage with Molten Duplication for infinite hasty attackers, and Underworld Breach storm lines using Lion's Eye Diamond and Grapeshot. The deck protects its combo turns using free redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend, as well as Hexing Squelcher.
