Deck overview

This Gruul artifact deck is commanded by Aerid Konstrari, a flying sphinx that creates Heartwood mana tokens on entry and death while converting artifact counts into massive power boosts. The game plan focuses on rapid early acceleration using cheap mana dorks, artifact creatures, and rocks to deploy Aerid ahead of curve. Once established, the deck leverages Aerid's high base power to draw large bursts of cards through spells like Rishkar's Expertise, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Greater Good. With abundant mana and card velocity, it scales Aerid's power into double digits and eliminates opponents through lethal aerial combat, copy engines like Depthshaker Titan and Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, or devastating direct-damage payoffs including Chandra's Ignition, Gravitic Punch, and Fling.
