Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is a UW Human/token engine that doubles both card draw and token production. The primary plan is to flood the board with 1/1 Humans and Soldiers, multiply them with Elspeth, Storm Slayer and Ojer Taq, then win either through Halo Fountain's instant-speed victory during a 15+ token attack or through an Intruder Alarm loop into Laboratory Maniac. Shorikai, Genesis Engine is the main draw engine; Arcade Gannon and Tameshi provide recursion. The deck can grind out combat wins, but its cleanest exits are the two compact, commander-independent combos.
