Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combo-control list built around Orvar, the All-Form. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Orvar alongside mana-multiplying permanents like Coveted Jewel or Peregrine Drake, then casting repeatable targeting spells with buyback like Whim of Volrath to create infinite mana, infinite tokens, and draw the entire library. A dense suite of cantrips and tutors—including Fabricate, Merchant Scroll, and Step Through—ensures reliable access to the necessary combo pieces. In the early game, the deck uses low-cost ramp and temporary land duplication to accelerate mana output, while counterspells and bounce interaction protect the engine and disrupt opponent tempo. Once the unbounded engine is online, the game ends immediately via Thassa's Oracle.
