Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a UB sacrifice/control deck built around Vren, the Relentless. Vren turns every opponent creature that would die into an exiled card, then converts that exile count into a 1/1 Rat army at each end step. The deck is packed with edict effects-Fleshbag Marauder, Sheoldred's Edict, Tithing Blade, Liliana's Triumph-and sacrifice engines like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos, turning opponents' boards into Vren fuel. Card flow comes from Necropotence, Ad Nauseam, Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Braids, Arisen Nightmare, and Skullclamp. The primary kill is the Sanguine Bond plus Exquisite Blood life-drain loop, with drain amplification from Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Archfiend of Despair, and Warlock Class. The Rat swarm itself is a real secondary avenue, especially when backed by Massacre Wurm and Ogre Slumlord.
