Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mardu aggro deck led by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The strategy focuses on exploiting Isshin's ability to double attack triggers, turning efficient low-cost creatures and enchantments into overwhelming token engines, card advantage hubs, and rapid life-drain sources. Early turns establish mana acceleration through efficient artifacts and combat-based Treasure generators. Once Isshin and an attack engine hit the battlefield, each combat step produces twice the tokens and value. The deck converts this wide presence into decisive table eliminations using powerful anthems like Skyhunter Strike Force, life-draining triggers from Mishra, Claimed by Gix, and extra combat phases via Karlach, Fury of Avernus or an infinite combo with Sword of Feast and Famine and Aggravated Assault. Supporting protection cards safeguard the attacking board from combat damage and sweepers.
