Who are you? Yu. No, not me. You. Yes, I am Yu. by Xepris

Format: Commander

Commander: Ferrafor, Young Yew

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ferrafor, Young Yew leads a mono-green stompy strategy centered on aggressive +1/+1 counter distribution, explosive token generation, and overwhelming combat damage. Early turns focus on accelerating mana and establishing counter multipliers like Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Tribute to the World Tree. Mid-game threats such as Kalonian Hydra, Railway Brawler, and Defiler of Vigor quickly inflate your board. Once creatures hold a critical mass of counters, casting Ferrafor instantly floods the battlefield with Saprolings while doubling key threats. You close the game through massive trample attacks powered by Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or repeated activations of Bristly Bill, Spine Sower.
