Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya lifegain and +1/+1 counter tokens strategy commanded by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn. The primary game plan focuses on deploying efficient early mana acceleration, establishing passive lifegain engines such as Prosperous Innkeeper, and casting Lathiel to distribute large quantities of +1/+1 counters across a widening board of creature tokens. As token producers like Cadira, Caller of the Small, Emeria Angel, and March of the Multitudes flood the battlefield, Lathiel transforms modest 1/1 tokens into imposing combat threats each end step. The deck pressures the table through unblockable attacks and mass overrun effects via Champion of Lambholt, Thunderfoot Baloth, and Overrun, closing out games across coordinated combat turns. While the list possesses robust creature-based redundancy and targeted protection such as Asceticism and Dauntless Escort, its reliance on combat damage and end-step counter distribution leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and heavy interaction.
