Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Phyrexian tribal and Praetor midrange deck commanded by Omnath, Locus of All. The strategy revolves around using early ramp and fixing to deploy Omnath by turn 4, banking unspent mana as black and generating steady card advantage. In the midgame, the deck leverages its accumulated mana to cast devastating Praetors such as Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, and Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant. These legendary creatures create overwhelming asymmetric stax locks that suppress opposing mana, cancel enter-the-battlefield triggers, and counter spells. A secondary poison package with Skrelv, Defector Mite, Blighted Agent, and Atraxa, Praetors' Voice applies alternate lethal pressure. The ultimate haymaker is Realmbreaker, the Invasion Tree, which can put all Praetors onto the battlefield at once. Opponents face compounding attrition and lethal combat steps, typically leading to a decisive finish by turn 8.
