Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Voltron and combat-focused aggro deck commanded by Stangg, Echo Warrior. The strategy revolves around suiting up Stangg with powerful Auras and Equipment, then attacking to create an attacking Stangg Twin token that duplicates every attached card. This duplication effectively doubles the deck's combat power, on-attack triggers, and death triggers, as token Auras like Audacity draw extra cards when sacrificed at the end step. Dense low-mana ramp ensures Stangg lands early, while equipment like Blackblade Reforged and Mage Slayer accelerate damage output. If Stangg is removed, alternative threats like Wolverine, Best There Is and Chishiro, the Shattered Blade make excellent backup equipment carriers. The deck aims to initiate heavy combat pressure on Turn 5 and close the game by Turn 8 through commander damage and burst spells like Chandra's Ignition and Temur Battle Rage.
