Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Doran, Besieged by Time leads a Treefolk toughness deck whose primary plan is to make toughness the combat stat and swing with enormous Treefolk. Doran, the Siege Tower in the 99 is the hidden commander; Treefolk Harbinger can search for it, and Assault Formation, Ancient Lumberknot, and Treefolk Umbra provide redundancy for the toughness-damage effect. The commander's cost reduction and attack/block pump add the power/toughness difference, turning 0/5 bodies into 5/10 attackers and later 10/20+ threats. Secondary lines use lifegain (Treebeard, Angelic Chorus, Food) and recursion/cheat effects (Last March of the Ents, Six, Eerie Ultimatum) to rebuild after wipes. The deck has no infinite combo and wins through repeated combat.
