Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu artifact aristocrats combo engine piloted by Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter. The strategy focuses on converting cheap artifacts and artifact creatures into an escalating pool of Treasure and Construct tokens. Jan Jansen's printed haste enables immediate activation upon entry, rapidly generating disposable bodies for high-velocity draw engines like Skullclamp, Deadly Dispute, and Hardened Tactician. The primary win condition revolves around making Jan Jansen an artifact using Liquimetal Torque, Liquimetal Coating, or Silverskin Armor, then pairing him with an untap engine such as Clock of Omens or Dross Scorpion. This loop creates infinite artifact enter-the-battlefield and death triggers, which drain opponents to zero life in a single turn via Marionette Apprentice, Reckless Fireweaver, Mirkwood Bats, or Mayhem Devil. Alternate routes utilize Bolas's Citadel to cast through the library or Krark-Clan Ironworks to generate massive colorless mana.
