Y'shtola, Night's Blessed drives an Esper control-drain engine. The deck's main plan is to play three-plus-mana instants and sorceries, converting each into 2 life lost per opponent (tripled by Delney, Streetwise Lookout and Roaming Throne), while end-step draws refuel. Secondary paths use Bloodchief Ascension's quest counters and Exsanguinate as a mana/life sink. Alisaie and Alphinaud are a hidden partner pair, and Emet-Selch lets the deck recast key spells after drain triggers. Control elements-counters, spot removal, free protection-keep Y'shtola alive long enough for the repetitive drain to kill the table, usually on turn 8 with a normal draw.
