Deck overview

This deck is a Jund theft and sacrifice strategy led by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash. The game plan focuses on temporarily stealing opposing creatures with spells like Act of Treason, Mass Mutiny, and Mob Rule, attacking with them to trigger Ognis's Treasure generation, and sacrificing them to outlets such as Viscera Seer, High Market, and Tom, Bert, and William before the turn ends. This sequence turns opposing threats into extra mana, card draw, and direct damage while permanently clearing enemy boards. High functional redundancy ensures consistent access to both theft cards and sacrifice outlets. While vulnerable to creatureless decks and targeted removal on key sacrifice engines, the deck generates substantial tempo swings and closes games through decisive combat steps with stolen armies.
