Silk in the Strings by jmajewicz23

Format: Commander

Commander: Shelob, Child of Ungoliant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shelob, Child of Ungoliant leads a Golgari Spider kindred deck focused on defensive board control, token generation, and combat attrition. Shelob grants all Spiders deathtouch and ward 2, transforming defensive reach creatures into lethal combatants and stealing opposing creatures as Food tokens. The deck establishes early board presence with efficient blockers, ramps into high-impact threats, and leverages sacrifice and token synergies through cards like Mirkwood Bats and Academy Manufactor. Victory is achieved by overwhelming opponents through go-wide combat with kindred pump effects, explosive mass token producers like Spider Spawning and Kindred Summons, or repeated life drain activations with Rotwidow Pack.
