This is an Orzhov aristocrats attrition deck helmed by Athreos, God of Passage. The primary plan is to stack death-trigger drain effects - Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Corpse Knight, and Syr Konrad, the Grim - alongside cheap sacrifice outlets such as Viscera Seer and Cartel Aristocrat, so every creature death costs the table life. Athreos adds a second tax: opponents either pay 3 life or the dead creature returns to hand for another loop. Extort creatures, treasure payoffs like Life Insurance and Kingpin, Wilson Fisk, and a burst finish off Rise of the Dread Marn or Westvale Abbey provide multiple grindy paths to victory.
