Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mardu artifact cheat and reanimator deck commanded by Megatron, Tyrant. Using his alternate More Than Meets the Eye cost, Megatron enters early as a Vehicle with Living Metal. On attack, Megatron sacrifices an artifact to blast a creature, funneling excess damage straight to the opponent's life total and converting back into his robot form. In the postcombat main phase, Megatron converts again to convert that lost life into massive amounts of colorless mana, powering out colossal colorless bombs like Blightsteel Colossus, Portal to Phyrexia, and game-ending Torment of Hailfire spells. Supported by Daretti, Goblin Welder, and Sneak Attack, the deck seamlessly transitions between graveyard reanimation, combat pressure, and burst direct damage.
