Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Equipment Voltron build led by Captain America, First Avenger. The strategy focuses on bypassing heavy equip costs by using Captain America's Catch trigger at the beginning of combat to attach massive armaments like Colossus Hammer and Excalibur, Sword of Eden for free. Once suited up, Captain America applies immediate commander damage while using his Throw ability to unattach Equipment and remove opposing blockers. An extensive tutor package ensures access to signature weapons as well as specialized defensive Equipment such as Mithril Coat, Robe of Stars, and Conqueror's Flail, insulating the commander from removal. Secondary beaters like Bruenor Battlehammer and Halvar, God of Battle maintain high offensive pressure if the commander is removed, while an opportunistic infinite combat loop between Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine provides an alternate finish.
