Deck overview

This deck is a classic Orzhov Aristocrats build commanded by Teysa Karlov. Its game plan revolves around assembling a three-part engine: recurring sacrifice fodder (such as Reassembling Skeleton or creature tokens), sacrifice outlets (like Viscera Seer, Ashnod's Altar, and Warren Soultrader), and drain payoffs (such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Marionette Apprentice). Teysa Karlov acts as a potent force multiplier by doubling all death triggers, turning modest board states into lethal life-drain cascades. Mana velocity is stabilized by low-curve rocks and Treasure generators like Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff, while card flow is fueled by Skullclamp and Midnight Reaper. The deck interacts primarily through efficient Orzhov removal and creature edicts, grinding opposing boards down while insulating itself against life loss via lifelinked tokens. It aims to establish critical pressure around turn 6 and close out games by turn 8 through compounded drain triggers.
