Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Orc/Army counters deck helmed by The Great Goblin, built around a single explosive premise: every time you put a counter on a Goblin, Orc, or Army, the commander deals 2 damage to an opponent. The deck leans heavily into the amass mechanic - nearly twenty amass effects across creatures, sorceries, enchantments, and lands - to trigger that ping repeatedly while growing a single Army token into a lethal combat threat. A goblin tribal subtheme (Krenko, Mob Boss, Muxus, Goblin Grandee, Goblin Warchief) provides a secondary swarm plan and fuels the commander's death-trigger card advantage. The deck wins through incremental commander pings softened by a growing Army, then closes with burst finishers like Assault on Osgiliath (double strike + haste) or Desert Were-Worm (extra combat).
