Deck overview

This deck is an exhibition build centered entirely on cards with '{0}' in their mana costs, equip costs, or activated abilities. Gavi, Nest Warden commands the deck solely because her text box contains '{0}' cycling, even though the 99 contains zero cycling cards. In play, the deck operates as a Cheerios equipment aggro strategy. It dumps zero-mana artifact creatures and equipment onto the battlefield rapidly using premier fast mana like Chrome Mox, Mox Opal, and Sol Ring. Payoffs like Bruenor Battlehammer, Puresteel Paladin, and Forge Anew bypass equip costs, turning small 0-cost bodies like Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh into sizable combat threats. Alternative lines utilize Vivi Ornitier for burn and mana generation alongside Urza's Saga Construct tokens. While the deck boasts fast early deployment and free reactive spells like Pact of Negation and Restoration Magic, its lack of infinite combos and tutoring leaves it dependent on fair, multi-turn combat damage to win.
