Commander: Volo, Guide to Monsters

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Simic token-copy strategy helmed by Volo, Guide to Monsters. The core plan is to deploy Volo, then cast creature spells with creature types not already present on your board or in your graveyard, getting a free copy of each spell. That generates an explosive token army of high-value creatures like Hornet Queen, Avenger of Zendikar, and Ancient Stone Idol. Token doublers (Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Primal Vigor) multiply the army even further. The primary win condition is a massive overrun via Craterhoof Behemoth or End-Raze Forerunners, turning the board of tokens into lethal trampling attackers. Secondary paths include commander damage with a copy of a big creature or simply overwhelming combat from a 40+ token swarm. The deck has no infinite combos; its speed is moderate and relies on incremental advantage.
