Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet artifact-token strategy commanded by Saheeli, Jewel of Avishkar. The game plan revolves around casting noncreature spells to flood the board with 1/1 flying Thopter tokens that benefit from Saheeli's passive haste ability. Supported by dense low-mana acceleration and cost-reducing effects like affinity and improvise, the deck rapidly deploys its commander on Turn 4 and immediately starts generating tokens. High-velocity draw engines like Skullclamp, Fateful Discovery, and Bident of Thassa refill the hand, enabling continuous spell chaining. Lethality peaks on Turn 5 through massive team-wide pump effects like Shared Animosity, Banner of Kinship, and Craterclaw Colossus, or direct group-slug damage via Ingenious Artillerist and Reckless Fireweaver. Efficient counterspells and protective tools like Eldrazi Monument defend the board against opposing interaction while closing out games across 2 response cycles.
