Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is piloted by Lathliss, Dragon Queen and focuses on Dragon tribal stompy. The deck aims to accelerate its mana early using cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator, enabling you to deploy high-cost flying dragons ahead of curve. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell doubles your aerial board presence by creating a 5/5 Dragon token. Enablers like Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas convert these creature entries into direct burn damage to clear blockers and chunk life totals. Finishes are achieved through overwhelming combat damage, amplified by Terror of Mount Velus, Utvara Hellkite, and extra combat phases from Hellkite Charger. The deck includes interactive redirection, anti-blue interaction, and nonbasic land disruption via Ruination to protect its game plan while derailing opponents.
