Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck is built around Vivi Ornitier, a commander that grows with each noncreature spell and converts its power into explosive mana. The primary win condition is a relentless pinging assault: creatures like Guttersnipe, Electrostatic Field, and Erebor Flamesmith deal damage each time you cast an instant or sorcery, while Vivi itself adds a counter and a ping. These pings are amplified by a dense package of damage multipliers - Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might - turning a single spell into a table-wide threat. The deck also includes theft spells (Insurrection, Call for Aid, Mob Rule) to steal opposing creatures for a final combat, and extra turns (Capture of Jingzhou, Temporal Manipulation) to chain additional spells. Secondary finishes include Chandra's Ignition on a large Vivi or a massive Crackle with Power.
