Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura Control and life-drain build piloted by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. Its strategy revolves around distributing low-cost Auras across both friendly creatures and opposing threats. Opposing enchanted creatures are prevented from attacking you, while Goad enchantments force them into combat against other opponents. Meanwhile, Eriette drains each opponent for life equal to your Aura count at each of your end steps, steadily buffering your life total. Card draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and cost reducers like Killian, Ink Duelist maintain mana efficiency and hand replenishment. As the Aura count scales, damage multipliers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and token generators like Archon of Sun's Grace turn incremental life drain into a decisive clock. Additionally, the deck packs an incidental infinite life-drain combo using Exquisite Blood alongside Enduring Tenacity or Sanguine Bond to close out stalled games.
