Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy built around casting Ghalta, Primal Hunger as early as possible. By leveraging hyper-efficient, high-stat creatures like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus, the deck rapidly accumulates 10 to 12 power on the battlefield. This discounts Ghalta's casting cost down to a negligible {G}{G}, allowing a 12/12 trampler to enter play as early as Turn 4. Once Ghalta resolves, the deck shifts toward converting raw power into card advantage with engines like Garruk's Uprising, Rishkar's Expertise, and Elemental Bond. The deck seeks to eliminate opponents through relentless combat pressure, bolstered by overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While its linear game plan generates massive physical board presence quickly, it remains vulnerable to board sweepers and lacks dense interaction to disrupt fast combo strategies.
