Uugguu the Omniplasm - Oozes by CptLande

Format: Commander

Commander: Uugguu, the Omniplasm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Ooze tribal deck helmed by Uugguu, the Omniplasm, built around the commander's death-trigger token generation. The core strategy is to sacrifice nontoken Oozes (especially those with death triggers like Mitotic Slime) to create a massive army of 2/2 token copies, then leverage that army for value, mana, or a combo finish. The deck leans heavily on the graveyard, using recursion pieces like Reanimate and Cauldron of Essence to recycle key creatures. Wins typically come from infinite death loops (e.g., Mitotic Slime + Ashnod's Altar + commander + Cauldron of Essence) or overwhelming combat with pumped Oozes. The commander is the engine's linchpin, but the deck can still generate value through other token doublers like Doubling Season and Parallel Lives.
