Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck leverages Evin, Waterdeep Opportunist alongside Treasure and sacrifice synergies to generate massive card advantage and rapid bursts of mana. The deck curves early ramp into durable value engines like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Skullclamp, and Necropotence, drawing deep into the 99 to locate its core aristocrats loops. Its primary win condition pairs Gravecrawler with Warren Soultrader and a drain payoff like Zulaport Cutthroat or Ayara, First of Locthwain to drain all opponents in a single turn. Powerful backup win conditions include Bolas's Citadel storm sequences, Torment of Hailfire fueled by Cabal Coffers and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and Voltron combat finishes enabled by Evin's Treasure-scaling power buff. The deck maintains commanding creature board control through asymmetric edicts and graveyard hate, though its lack of dedicated tutors makes card velocity its primary selection tool.
