Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Zurzoth, Chaos Rider, focusing on group-slug burn, forced symmetrical draws, and Devil token swarm aggro. The primary strategy revolves around deploying Zurzoth on Turn 3 and using symmetric draw enablers like Temple Bell, Mikokoro, Center of the Sea, and Burning Inquiry to trigger Zurzoth's ability, creating 1/1 Devil tokens on opponents' turns. Once a swarm of Devils is established, the deck pivots into an aggressive finisher on Turn 5 by deploying high-impact damage amplifiers such as Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Shared Animosity, or Hellrider. As Devils attack and die, they trigger a cascade of enter-the-battlefield, attack, and death pings, amplified by forced wheels like Wheel of Misfortune and Reforge the Soul. The deck reliably threatens lethal damage across the entire table by Turn 7. It offers strong functional redundancy and explosive burst damage, though it remains vulnerable to repeated commander removal and exile-based board sweepers.
