Deck overview

This Jund deck is commanded by The Muckslinger Gang, an engine centerpiece that grants a static +3/+3 buff to creature spells, creature cards in non-battlefield zones, and non-attacking creatures on the battlefield. This global bonus supercharges low-cost utility creatures into massive mana engines and high-yield sacrifice fodder. Cards like Viridian Joiner, Fanatic of Rhonas, and Mona Lisa, Science Geek tap for four or more mana immediately upon the commander entering play. The resulting mana acceleration enables rapid deployment of heavyweight threats such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger, The Great Henge, and Tom, Bert, and William as early as Turn 4. The deck transitions into a lethal endgame by converting massive board power into direct damage through Chandra's Ignition, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes, and one-sided fight spells. Backed by reactive redirects and indestructible shielding, the deck delivers an explosive, high-synergy stompy and fling game plan.
