Deck overview

This mono-blue artifact deck is commanded by Sai, Master Thopterist, focusing on creating an overwhelming aerial swarm of Thopter tokens while leveraging artifact synergies for card advantage and mana ramp. The deck curves into Sai on Turn 2 or 3, then casts efficient artifacts to trigger Sai's token creation. It transitions into the midgame by drawing cards through Skullclamp, Shimmer Dragon, and Sai's activated ability. The win condition relies on buffing the flying army with anthems like Master of Etherium, Chief of the Foundry, and Forsaken Monument, or beating down with large scaling threats like Kappa Cannoneer, Darksteel Juggernaut, and Nettlecyst. It controls the table with an efficient counterspell suite and targeted bounce spells. While vulnerable to mass artifact removal, it rebuilds smoothly thanks to low curve costs, recursion from Emry, Lurker of the Loch, and secondary engines like Urza, Lord High Artificer.
