Deck overview

This is a high-power Sultai Elfball deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The plan is to flood the board with Elves, convert them into absurd mana via lords and dorks, and close through classic overrun payoffs or activated drains. Thranduil, the Elvenking is a dual engine: he loots whenever another legendary Elf enters, and-critically-he gains every activated ability of Elves in your graveyard, turning Entomb/Buried Alive piles into a command-zone toolbox (untaps, mana sinks, Lathril, Blade of the Elves's drain, Ezuri, Renegade Leader's overrun, and more). Primary wins are Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, and Lathril, Blade of the Elves tapping ten Elves. Dense creature tutors, premium draw (Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Sylvan Library), and a low curve make the deck highly consistent at assembling its explosive turns.
