This deck leverages Gandalf, Party Guest as a high-velocity spellslinger engine that casts expensive instants and sorceries for free at the beginning of combat. By curving out cheap legendary Wizards such as Balmor, Battlemage Captain, Baral, Chief of Compliance, and Adeliz, the Cinder Wind, the deck rapidly inflates Gandalf's scaling threshold. By Turn 5, Gandalf cheats game-ending spells like Urza's Ruinous Blast, Raise the Palisade, or Surge to Victory into play without paying their mana costs. Asymmetric board clears bypass your legendary Wizard board, clearing all opposing blockers while prowess triggers and combat anthems push massive damage.
