Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger storm deck helmed by Vadrik, Astral Archmage. Vadrik provides massive generic mana cost reduction for all instant and sorcery spells scaled to his power. The deck uses temporary pump spells, day/night cycles, and auras like Clout of the Dominus to rapidly inflate Vadrik's power. With a high power value, otherwise clunky high-cost draw spells and ritual effects like Apex of Power, Brass's Bounty, and Ingenious Mastery cost as little as one or two colored mana. The primary win condition is assembling an infinite mana and storm loop using Reiterate paired with Brass's Bounty or Explosive Welcome, followed by a lethal Grapeshot or burn spell to kill the table in a single turn. The deck is supported by efficient card selection, defensive counterspells, and secondary token generation through Talrand, Sky Summoner and Empty the Warrens.
