Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Grixis aggro-midrange build commanded by Goro-Goro and Satoru. Its strategy leverages inexpensive, unblockable attackers and Ninjutsu mechanics to satisfy the commander's condition: having creatures that entered the battlefield this turn deal combat damage to players. Successful connections immediately spawn 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit tokens, compounding pressure across the table. Supplementary damage engines like Dragon Tempest, Impact Tremors, and Warstorm Surge convert new creature entries into direct burn, while combat-damage card drawers like Ingenious Infiltrator, Bident of Thassa, and Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow keep resources flowing. The deck assembles its core engine on Turn 4, presents a must-answer aerial clock by Turn 5, and reliably closes games on Turn 7 across two opponent response cycles. While vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and spot removal targeting the commander, its dense redundancy of evasive threats and alternate token engines ensure consistent pressure.
