Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu artifact stompy and big-mana burn strategy commanded by Megatron, Tyrant // Megatron, Destructive Force. The primary game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2 to cast Megatron on Turn 3 using its More Than Meets the Eye alternate cost. On Turn 4, Megatron attacks as a Vehicle, sacrificing high-mana-value artifacts like Metalwork Colossus, Phyrexian Triniform, or Su-Chi Cave Guard to eliminate opposing utility creatures and deal excess burn damage to their controllers. This conversion generates 8 to 12+ colorless mana in the postcombat main phase, which immediately fuels game-ending plays such as a massive Torment of Hailfire, a wide reanimation swing with Wake the Past, or overwhelming board states via Krang, Utrom Warlord and Sneak Attack. While the deck features strong spot removal and resilient reanimation engines, it relies on having small targetable creatures to maximize burn and remains vulnerable to well-timed main-phase artifact wipes.
