Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Bear tribal aggro strategy helmed by Ayula, Queen Among Bears. The game plan centers on casting Ayula on Turn 2 and immediately following up with low-cost Bears to trigger her versatile ability, either growing Ayula into a massive threat with +1/+1 counters or fighting and eliminating opposing utility creatures. Midgame turns leverage tribal cost-reducers such as Herald's Horn and Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, alongside draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Lifecrafter's Bestiary, to maintain hand size while developing a wide board. The deck closes games around Turns 6–8 through overwhelming combat damage, utilizing trample and stat-boosting finishers like Overrun, End-Raze Forerunners, and Surrak and Goreclaw. While highly consistent at dominating creature-based boards, the deck remains vulnerable to mass board wipes and noncreature stack-based combo strategies.
