Commander: Samwise Gamgee

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Food-token deck aims to drown opponents in incremental value before converting life-gain triggers and +1/+1 counters into a dominating battlefield. The commander Samwise Gamgee provides repeatable recursion for legendary and artifact pieces, turning every Food into a tutor-for-value engine. The deck's primary plan is to establish token generators like Peregrin Took or Tippy-Toe, Terrific Partner, fuel them with Sam's sacrifice ability to recover key historic cards, and eventually win through either a wide Halfling army buffed by Flowering of the White Tree or a quickly assembled combo. Secondary paths include The Battle of Bywater for cleanup, Feasting Troll King as a resilient recursive beater, and large bursts from Farmer Cotton. The hidden commander is The Arkenstone, which doubles as a legend tutor and draws a card each turn once active.
