Deck overview

This deck is an Esper top-deck midrange strategy built around Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan focuses on manipulating the top of the library to cheat massive, odd-mana-value spells directly into play during combat. Early turns are dedicated to establishing mana velocity with artifacts like Arcane Signet, Talisman of Progress, and Coalition Relic while sculpting the top cards using Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter. Once Yennett attacks on Turn 5, she cheats game-warping bombs such as Breach the Multiverse, Void Winnower, and Toxrill, the Corrosive onto the battlefield for free. The deck leverages this sudden board presence alongside asymmetric removal like Extinction Event and Promise of Loyalty to outvalue opponents and close the game through combat damage over subsequent turns. While powerful when engines connect, the plan relies on combat steps and lacks cheap stack protection.
