Gandalf, the Blue by Dokk

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Shadow's Foe

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck helmed by Gandalf, Shadow's Foe leverages landfall triggers and spell-slinging to generate overwhelming card advantage. The core strategy combines traditional control elements (counterspells, bounce, removal) with a combo finish built around High Tide and untap creatures like Peregrine Drake and Cloud of Faeries. Gandalf serves as both a card-draw engine (via landfall) and a growing beater, but the deck's primary path to victory is assembling infinite mana to draw the entire library, then taking extra turns or using Rite of Replication to overwhelm opponents. Secondary wins include commander damage (especially with Rogue's Passage) and incremental value from copying spells with Kitsa, Otterball Elite.
