Deck overview

This Naya deck is commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender, emphasizing earthbending, land animation, and +1/+1 counter synergies. Its primary game plan is to establish early ramp, deploy Toph to begin turning lands into recurring 0/0 creatures with counters, and expand into powerful mid-game landfall triggers. Key payoffs like Bumi, Eclectic Earthbender, Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss, and Felidar Retreat quickly transform the land army into lethal combat threats. A distinct advantage of earthbend is built-in sweeper insurance: animated lands return tapped when destroyed or exiled. However, the deck operates entirely at sorcery speed on the board, possesses minimal instant-speed interaction or protection, and lacks burst card draw, requiring deliberate sequencing to maintain pressure without overextending into targeted engine disruption.
