Format: Commander

Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Reaper, King No More leads a three-color -1/-1 counter deck that uses proliferate, wither, and death triggers to generate resources before converting them into an infinite drain combo. Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons is effectively the hidden commander: she turns every counter into a Snake, and pairs with Yawgmoth, Thran Physician or Blowfly Infestation to draw or drain. The primary win is Gravecrawler plus Warren Soultrader plus Blood Artist, with Yawgmoth/Hapatra as backup. The commander provides a steady theft effect on countered enemy creatures, while Necroskitter and Puppeteer Clique add recursion. The deck is robust to commander removal but has little stack interaction, so it wins through redundancy rather than protection.
