Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon Tribal Stompy strategy helmed by The Ur-Dragon. The deck relies on its commander's eminence ability to provide constant mana acceleration from the command zone, allowing expensive, high-impact Dragon spells to hit the battlefield ahead of curve. The early turns focus on establishing five-color mana fixing and ramp through spells like Farseek, Three Visits, and Arcane Signet. By Turn 4, the deck deploys an engine piece such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm or Temur Ascendancy, transitioning rapidly on Turn 5 into a critical combat threat with heavy hitters like Atarka, World Render, Terror of the Peaks, or Hellkite Courser. While the deck possesses immense aerial combat power and compounding card draw, its high average mana curve and tap-out nature leave it exposed to well-timed board wipes and counterspells, requiring careful sequencing to sustain pressure across all opponents.
